The Institute of Computer Science co-organizes Horizons: Conference in Honour of Petr Vopěnka

ICS co-organizes Horizons: Conference in Honour of Petr Vopěnka, where invited talks of renowned foreign and local specialists in the areas of set theory, philosophy of mathematics, and history of mathematics will be delivered.

The conference will trace particularly those topics that this outstanding Czech mathematician contributed to. As a part of the programme, a panel discussion will be dedicated to Vopěnka's Alternative Set Theory. The conference is organized by the Center for Theoretical Study on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the decease of Professor Vopěnka.
