The Czech Gathering of Logicians is an annual event that brings together researchers in all areas of logic, primarily - though not exclusively - based in Czech Republic. This year holds special significance, as the Gathering is being held jointly with Beauty of Logic, a special conference series organized to honor the legacy of Professor Petr Hájek.
This year, three distinguished young scientists in the field of theoretical computer science - Wesley Fussner, Samuel Braunfeld, and Adam Přenosil - will pursue their JUNIOR STAR projects at the Institute of Computer Science. The projects will enable them to establish their own research teams and explore new frontiers in scientific research.
The Institute of Computer Science coordinates the excellent project Brain Dynamics, financed within the call for Excellence in Research of the Programme Johannes Amos Comenius until mid-2028. The Institute is implementing another 8 P JAC projects in the calls for Excellence in Research, Intersectoral Cooperation, MSCA Fellowships CZ, Social Sciences and Humanities.
