Principal Investigator: Mgr. Roman Neruda, CSc.

Experts agree that the spread of mis- and disinformation and its impact on cognitive processes and the resilience of democratic society are among the most critical challenges today. This project aims to develop an agent-based model (software) to simulate the dynamics of mis- and disinformation dissemination.

The model will enhance understanding of information spread, community formation, key nodes in social networks, and individual behavior. It will facilitate in silico experiments to test hypotheses and strategies for combating disinformation. The project's outcomes will advance research into mechanisms for defending against the spread of mis- and disinformation.
