Following the Fourth International Conference on Mathematical Aspects of
Computer and Information Sciences (MACIS
2011) that was held in Beijing, China, on October 19-21, 2011, we invite
submissions to a special issue of the journal Mathematics in Computer Science
(MCS). We solicit high-quality original
research papers with journal-style extent of contribution. The special issue's
main focus will be work presented at MACIS 2011, but this call is open to
further submissions close to two conference themes
- Numeric and Symbolic Constraint Solving
- Design and Analysis of Complex Systems

Submission Guidelines
It is recommended that papers be prepared using LaTeX with the class file mathincl.cls. All submitted papers will be refereed according to the usual MCS refereeing process. If accepted, then LaTeX sources must be provided. Submission to the special issue is hereby encouraged via the EasyChair submission system. If you cannot use the EasyChair system, your submission should contain- the title and abstract of the paper in plain text,
- the name and e-mail address of the communicating author,
- a PDF as e-mail attachment,
