Research Interests:

• Convergence analysis of modern iterative methods, in particular Krylov subspace methods

• Preconditioning, with emphasis on sequences of linear systems

• Implementations of statistical methods to solve classification tasks.

• Sparse direct solvers for linear programs solved by the simplex method
